Scrumkitchen - Scrum Workshops

Scrumkitchen

What is Scrumkitchen?2026-02-13T13:48:48+01:00

Scrumkitchen is a specialized institute for team and organizational development. We use the kitchen as a high-efficiency laboratory to make agile processes and team dynamics directly tangible and measurable. Our approach combines psychological expertise with profound agile practice – far beyond conventional theory in seminar rooms.

Is Scrum Cooking suitable for experienced teams?2026-02-13T13:35:27+01:00

Yes, particularly for experienced teams. For those already well-versed in agile frameworks, the workshop serves as a “stress test” to uncover hidden patterns, blind spots, and ingrained behaviors that are often masked by professional routine in the office.

What is the difference between Scrum Cooking and a Team Building event?2026-02-13T13:49:09+01:00

Standard team building focuses on social interaction and fun. Scrumkitchen focus on performance. We use the culinary setting as a methodological tool to reveal leadership patterns, decision-making processes, and team dynamics. It’s an intensive diagnostic workshop, not a cooking class.

Participants & Requirements

How many participants can take part?2026-02-13T13:49:49+01:00

Our formats are scalable. We work with small leadership teams (4+ people) as well as large groups of up to 60 or more. The depth of reflection and the methodological setup are always tailored to the specific group size and goals.

I can’t cook – is that a problem?2026-02-13T13:49:36+01:00

Not at all. The workshop is about organizing a complex process under time pressure, not culinary skill. The task is designed so that it can only be solved through effective communication and coordination. No prior cooking knowledge is required.

Organization & Logistics

Practical Details (Clothing, Allergies, Parking)2026-02-13T13:50:31+01:00

We provide a full-service experience. Professional aprons are provided; please wear comfortable everyday clothing. All dietary requirements and allergies are surveyed in advance and fully integrated into the menu planning. Our selected locations offer easy access via public transport and parking options nearby.

Where do the workshops take place?2026-02-13T13:50:08+01:00

We are location-independent. Workshops take place in professional partner event kitchens selected based on your team size and location. In Munich, we prefer our central “Home Base” (Anderswo Eventlocation) due to its optimal equipment and proximity to the main station. Upon request, we can also check the suitability of your own corporate kitchen.

How long does a workshop last?2026-02-13T13:50:21+01:00

The duration depends on the chosen format:

  • Standard: approx. 6 hours (intensive training & reflection).
  • Compact: approx. 3 hours (focus on core principles).
  • The Flavour of Teamwork: 1/2 day plus a 90-minute digital follow-up.
